In April 2026, researchers involved in the TwinFLAG Project came together at the prestigious ISEV Annual Meeting 2026, the world’s largest international conference dedicated to the field of extracellular vesicle research. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for TwinFLAG partners to reconnect, share scientific progress, and present project achievements to the global extracellular vesicle research community.

Representing the Innovative Medicine Centre, Eiva Bernotienė and Jolita Pachaleva joined fellow TwinFLAG collaborators Maria Mayan from University of Vigo and Kieran Brennan from University College Dublin at the conference held in beautiful Puerto Rico.

During the event, the team presented scientific results generated within the TwinFLAG project, showcasing ongoing research focused on extracellular vesicles and their potential applications in regenerative medicine and translational biomedical research. The conference offered a valuable platform to disseminate project outcomes, engage with leading experts from around the world, and exchange ideas on the latest developments in the rapidly evolving extracellular vesicle field.
