From June 11th to 20th 2025, the Twinflag members participated in the TWINFLAG Workshop 2025 in Vigo. The event was organized by the CellCOM Research group (CINBIO – University of Vigo team). This 10-day event consisted in an extensive programme combining scientific sessions, professional development, and networking opportunities.
The management training sessions covered essential topics such as communication skills, biobank management, EU grant proposals and biotech collaboration opportunities. The scientific programme included presentations by leading experts in age-related diseases, extracellular vesicles, and cancer research.
During the workshop we visited Zendal, a Spanish biotechnology group specialized in the research, development, and manufacture of vaccines and biotechnology solutions for human and animal health.
The event concluded with a session to meet the CINBIO groups, consisting in a series of 5-minute presentations by young researchers from both CINBIO and the TWINFLAG consortium, fostering future collaborations.
